Corrine B. Hebert

Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Daniel P. Hebert, the former Corrine “Nannie Co” Bonin, 71, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 10, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service time.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia Mrs. Hebert died Friday, January 7, 2011, at 6:05 p.m. in a New Iberia health care facility.

“Co,” as everyone would call her, never met a stranger. She enjoyed sewing and playing pokeno and would do anything for anyone. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of almost 52 years, Daniel P. “Danny” Hebert, of New Iberia; sons Daniel B. Hebert and friend Joey Fagundes of Dallas, Kenny Hebert and wife, Shari, Randy Hebert and wife, Sandra, David Hebert and wife, Roxanne; daughters Tessi Uhall and husband, Mike, all of New Iberia; sisters Janet Dronet, Anite LeBlanc and Esther Vice; one brother Leonce Bonin; a sister-in-law Nancy Hebert; grandchildren Hannah Prince, D.J. Hebert, Katie Uhall, Lacey Hebert, Janie Uhall, Kari Hebert and Joshua Hebert; four great-grandchildren; and her little companion “C.C.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcellus and Elfrida Norris Bonin; brothers Tony, Bill, Peter and Oneil; and a sister Eunice Gautreaux.

Pallbearers will be D.J. Hebert, Joshua Hebert, Marty Gautreaux, Tommy LeBlanc, Oniel Bonin Jr. and Keith Vice.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hannah Prince, Katie Uhall, Janie Uhall, Lacey Hebert and Kari Hebert.
