Classical music was in the air at St. Peter’s Catholic Church as conductor Mariusz Smolij led the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra in a concert “Brandenburg Concertos: Baroque and Beyond” Saturday afternoon.

Dozens of residents attended the concert, presented by the Iberia Cultural Resources Association.

Works from Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Benjamin Britten were featured in the presentation.

The concert was made possible through the generous donations from an anonymous donor and The Daily Iberian.
