Mary Jane Mitchell

Mary Jane Mitchell, 77 passed away on January 4, 2011, at 6:03 p.m. at Iberia Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Mary was native of Loreauville and long life resident of Lake Charles and New Iberia. Mary was born of Mr. Willie Mitchell Sr. and the late Mrs. Beatrice Simon Mitchell.

Left in God’s care and to cherish her memory are survivors: her father, Mr. Willie Mitchell Sr., of Loreauville; two sisters Lena Mae Mitchell of Loreauville and Linda Marie Mitchell-George of Terrell, Texas; and one brother Mark Jacobs of Lake Charles.

Memorial services for Ms. Mitchell will begin promptly at 12 noon on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Loreauville, with the Reverend John G. “Buddy” Breaux and Reverend Walter Broussard.

Rev. John G. Breaux asks whoever is attending the memorial services please arrive at the grave site between 11:45 and 11:55 a.m.
