Vallot - Granger

Donald and Helen Vallot of Lafayette announce the engagement of their daughter Gwendolyn Faye Vallot to Dr. Bryan D. Granger, son of Gwendolyn Granger of New Iberia and Thomas Granger of New Iberia. He is the stepson of Cathy Granger.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at L’Eglise in Abbeville.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School. She is employed with Hannie Development Inc.

The prospective groom is a 1985 graduate of Jeanerette Senior High School and received a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 1999. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in optometry from the University of Houston and an Associate of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Midland College in Midland, Texas. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is a self-employed Doctor of Optometry at Acadiana Vision Center in New Iberia.
