Mr. and Mrs. John G. Pommier of New Iberia announce the engagement of their daughter Amber Nicole Pommier to Marcus Ryan Olivier, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Olivier Jr. of Grand Marais. The wedding will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Loreauville High School and Southwest Paralegal College. She is employed by Allain and Bellefontaine.

The prospective groom is a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. He is employed at Morton Salt Co.
