Samantha Claire Salmon and Dr. Eric Paul Elias were married Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at the Episcopal School of Acadiana Chapel in Cade. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Lee Salmon of Lafayette. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Darryl James Elias Sr. of New Iberia.

The Rev. Mike Walker officiated at the ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a fitted lace dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and a double tiered chapel-length skirt, accented with an embellished beaded belt around the waist.

Andree Gonsoulin served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Lauren Allen, Laura Capell, Jessica Corley, Jennifer Gallup, Kara Gaylord, Melissa Goodnight, Emily Livingston, Julia Ryan and Jennifer Thomas.

Anna Katherine Livingston served as flower girl and Fisher Gallup, godson of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Dr. Darryl Elias Jr., brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Quinn Salmon, brother of the bride, Charles Beaullieu, Stuart Billeaud, David Ditch, Jed Inzerella, Kelly Neuville, Jean Pitre, Dr. Marcus Stelly and Benjamin Wormser.

A reception was held at Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club in Broussard.

Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
