Monique Elizabeth Barlow and John Nolan Dauterive Sr. were married Saturday, April 21, 2012, at St. John Baptist Church in Loreauville. The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth B. White and Donald R. Robinson of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Shirley Gibson of New Iberia and John Spencer of Tomball, Texas.

O’Neal Davis officiated at the 3 p.m. nuptial Mass.

The bride wore a strapless ivory-colored organza fitted flair gown accented with diamond and pearl appliqués.

She carried a bouquet of chocolate and pistachio-colored roses and hydrangeas wrapped in silk ribbon and decorated with pearls and diamonds.

Serving as maids of honor were Kayla Brown and Joise Barlow. Bridesmaids were Katina Barlow, Tomika Barlow, Teri Gibson, Tequilla Dauterive, Tasha White, Danitra Clay, Jaraya White, GeoNeisha Obey, Jameycia Teno, Shakeitha Paul, Toyla Miller, Darlovvel Fusilier and Tasheba Gibson.

They each carried a bouquet of long stemmed yellow roses accented with chocolate-colored pearls.

Flower girls were McKenzie Barlow and Kyla Barlow. Ring bearer was Jace Dauterive.

Serving as best men were Jared Butler and Brandon Bergeron. Groomsmen were Reginald Allen, Rickey Paul, Joe Battle, Durelle Nathan, Justin Schwing, Sherman Vital, Joey Dauterive, Dedrick Eugene, Roy Nora, Ken Ray Ledet, Jeffery Daniels and Trevor Williamson.

Miniature bride was Treasure Gibson and miniature groom was John N. Dauterive Jr.

Another member of the wedding party was Kharsyn Bell.

Ushers were Trevonta Barlow and Terion Gibson.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Gouguenheim in New Iberia.

Following a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple will reside in New Iberia.
