Ivylean Dupuis Myers

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Ivylean Dupuis Myers, 53, who died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in New Orleans.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 1:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Saturday.

Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate.

Born on March 7, 1959, in New Iberia, Mrs. Myers was a graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She enjoyed camping and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Myers, of New Iberia; mother, Joanna Robicheaux Bonin, of New Iberia; daughters Devon Gary and husband, Clinton, of Erath, Raven Myers, Cassie Myers, Abby Myers and Paige Myers, all of New Iberia; son Casey Myers and companion Andrea Trahan of New Iberia; sisters Charlean Barron of Bossier City, Darlean Theriot of New Iberia, Arlean Maturin of New Iberia; brother Octa “Bo-Boy” Bonin of New Iberia; three grandsons Noah, Ian and Caleb.

She was preceded in death by stepfather, Wilbert Bonin.
