April Janáe Harry recently received a Master of Science degree with a major in applied statistics from Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind.

She is pursuing her doctorate in statistics.

Harry was the 2006 valedictorian of Westgate High School and a 2010 graduate of Xavier University of New Orleans.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory H. Harry.
