The American Legion Auxiliary Verret-Bourgeois Unit 335 recently presented its annual award for Leadership, Patriotism and Citizenship to Cullen Broussard, a sixth-grade Center Street Elementary Student.

The auxiliary presented its annual “Love to Read” award to Savannah Brown, a sixth-grade student at Center Street Elementary School.

The awards were presented by Dolores Segura, president of Unit 335.
