Momma’s (Marnell Lapeyrouse) Okra and Shrimp Gumbo

4 cups smothered okra

2 cans chicken broth

2 pounds shrimp

1/8 teaspoon liquid crab boil

1 onion

1 bell pepper

Salt to taste

Add all ingredients except shrimp. Cook for approximately 1 1/2 hours on medium/low. If too thick add a little water. Add shrimp and cook another half hour.

Serve over rice.
