Gun control failures

Most Americans have heard the saying that history repeats itself very often and if Americans are not careful, history may just repeat itself when it comes to gun control. I offer the following examples:
In 1911 Turkey instituted gun control and when guns were confiscated, 1.5 million Turks were exterminated.

In 1929 Russia had gun control and then killed 20 million.
In 1935 China did the same, and then killed 20 million.
In 1938 Germany did the same and then executed 13 million Jews.
In 1956 Cambodia tried it and then exterminated 1 million.
In 1964 Guatemala controlled guns and then killed 100,000 Mayan Indians.
In 1970 Uganda did the same and then killed 300,000 Christians.

All of this is history of these countries with Hitler-type rulers who killed millions of individuals who were dissidents or troublemakers as they saw them.
I am not trying to say the same will happen in the United States if total gun control is made law, but I think before Americans will voluntarily surrender their weapons they will engage in some type of war.
Do you know that Switzerland has the absolute lowest crime rate involving guns in the entire world and the Swiss government not only issues each household a rifle, they train everyone how to properly use the weapon and how to defend themselves? Do you also know one of the reasons Japan never tried to invade the United States in 1941? They admitted that the largest army in the world was American citizens who own guns and they knew they would have lost that invasion. Just more information that someone might read.
