Black Forest Spoon Delight

1 can (20 ounce) light cherry pie filling

1 box of chocolate cake mix (do not prepare)

Preheat slow cooker on high for 10 minutes. Spray with cooking spray. Add the pie filling and cake mix into slow cooker.

Mix both ingredients. Batter will be thick and lumpy. Place paper towel on top of slow cooker and then place lid. Cook on high for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until knife is inserted and knife comes out clean. Place in serving dishes and top with ice cream or Cool Whip. Drizzle chocolate syrup and sprinkle with nuts.

Serves 15 1/2 cup servings.
