Caneview Elementary February 4-H report

The February 4-H meeting at Caneview Elementary was held Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. The meeting was opened by president Avery Derounen. The American pledge was said by Landon Ransonet and the 4-H pledge was said by Nicholas Sarradet. The meeting was then turned over to Mrs. Laney Soileau. She discussed turning in record books and the community service project for March which is MDA Clovers.
Mrs. Samantha Weber, 4-H agent, discussed the clover chatter, deadline for record books, fashion revue garments and when they are due, camp applications and achievement day. Kelsie Lyman did the February community service talk about dental health. She talked about the pros and cons of teeth brushing and proper oral hygiene.

Kody Arton and Jeanette Arton did a demonstration on “How to Make a Tote Bag.” A drawing was done for a tote bag at the end of the deomstration and Nicholas Sarradent won the bag. The next meeting is March 12 and then the meeting was adjourned.
