Dodson winners to spelling bee

- Dodson Elementary School’s top spellers recently placed high in the Regional Spelling Bee at the South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette. Sixty students from eight Acadiana parishes were invited by the Kiwanis Clubs of Acadiana and Lafayette to participate in the Spelling Bee. All six of Dodson’s finalists attended to support first-place winners Cassidy Boudreaux in the third- and fourth-grade division and Nanci Pellerin in the fifth- and sixth-grade division.
