Theriot — Haydel

Patricia Gail Theriot and Justin M. Haydel were married Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Veterans Memorial Building. The bride is the daughter of Jimmie and Theresa Theriot of New Iberia and the groom is the son of Glenn H. Haydel Sr. and Sherrie M. Haydel of New Iberia.

Justice of the Peace Johnny Hebert officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless white buff satin floor length gown with a beaded bodice and tiny buttons down the back.

For her headpiece, she wore a short veil of white illusion fabric.

She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses accented with blue roses and strings of pearls. Tiny white and blue blossoms embellished the arrangement that was framed with white lace.

Serving as matron of honor was Haley Haydel, sister-in-law of the groom. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Hebert, cousin of the bride, Rebecca Copell, Sunny Sonnier, sister of the groom, and Lawren Magers.

Serving as flower girl was Jaylah McKenzie Haydel, godchild of the groom. Ring bear was Joshua Michael Haydel, son of the couple.

Serving as junior bride was Jaquline Vargas.

Serving as best man was Glenn H. Haydel Jr., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Eric Oubre and Kyle Theriot, brothers of the bride, Joey Landry and Nickolas Haydel, brother of the groom.

Serving as junior groom was Ethan Sonnier, nephew of the groom.

Ushers were Ivy Romero and Mac Cory Sonnier.

A reception for family and friends was held at the Veterans Memorial Building in New Iberia.

Following a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
