Twelve outstanding LSU seniors were recently recognized as the Tiger Twelve Class of 2013.
Included in the Tiger Class of 2013 was Adrienne Simon of New Iberia, majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology.
Simon is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, where she has served in multiple leadership roles such as leadership chairman, sisterhood and ritual chairwoman, and vice president of member education. She has also served as the president of Greek Leadership Institute and president of Order of Omega. After graduation she plans to serve as a leadership development consultant for Kappa Delta Sorority, where she will meet with collegiate women to help them enhance their organizations.
In the fall 2014, she plans to begin a graduate program in leadership and organizational development.
The award recognizes full-time students, who are seniors, have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5, and have best demonstrated the seven basic principles outlined in LSU’s Commitment to Community, a statement of the mutually agreed upon expectations for each LSU community member established by students, faculty and staff in 1995.
