The United States Achievement Academy has recognized Joseph Landry II of Loreauville as an All-American Scholar.

Landry also was recognized for a Student of Excellence in Honor Roll by the USAA.

Landry, a student of Loreauville High, is the son of Mark and Penny Landry of Loreauville.

The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines.

The All-American Scholars must earn a 3.3 or higher grade point average. Only scholars selected

by a school instruct, counselor or other qualified sponsor are accepted.
