Marcy Elizabeth Landry, a New Iberia native, graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport during May 25 commencement exercises.

Landry will specialize in ophthalmology and will begin her residency at LSU-HSC-Shreveport on July 1.

She attended high school at Episcopal School of Acadiana in Cade and received her undergraduate degree in biology at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.

She is the daughter of Edward and Candi Landry.
