On Friday, a ruling by NOAA will give a special 14 day red snapper season to recreational fishermen. The special season will run from 12:01 a.m. OnOct. 1st and end at 12:01 a.m. On Oct. 15, 2013. That is great news, but no increase in daily limits. Bills have been introduced in Congress to revamp snapper regulations. Hopefully, the Feds will be out of the business of gulf management!
