Alexis Nicole Boudreaux and Daniel James Montet were married Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at St. John’s Cathedral in Lafayette. The bride is the daughter of Richard “Andy” and Donna Soileau of New Iberia and Randy Boudreaux of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Ronnie and Susan Montet of Abbeville.
The Rev. Joe Breaux officiated at the 7 p.m. nuptual Mass.
The bride wore an ivory-colored lace gown with light gold underlay that featured a high mandarin keyhole back and a fishtail train finished with scalloped edging. The gown was accented with crystals delicately sprinkled throughout and with decorative beading at the empire waist.
For her headpiece, she wore an ivory-colored net bird cage veil with an antique gray and ivory-colored flower beaded brooch.
She carried a hand-tied clutch bouquet of antique hydrangea, antique pale pink garden roses, tulips, white stock and mini calla lilies. The stems were wrapped in ribbon and finished with crystal finials.
Serving as maid of honor was Meryl Boudreaux, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Kyla Regan, Mindy Montet, Emily Thibodaux, Jenci Hollier, Rebecca Curry, Natalie Rader and Lindsey Voorhies.
They each carried a clutch bouquet with cream-colored and pink roses and hydrangeas.
Flower girls were Annelise Chambers and Averie Montet. Ring bearer was Liam Regan.
Serving as best man was Marcus Montet, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Cory Montet, Scott Montet, Grant Hebert, Jesse Regan, Neil Soileau, Jaron Hebert and Donavan Blasingame.
Ushers were Ben Boudreaux, Lance Boudreaux and Sean Lanier.
A reception for family and friends was held at The Madison Banquet and Reception Center in Broussard.
Following a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
