Sequoya Ferguson, 17, was crowned homecoming queen of West St. Mary High School’s 2013 Homecoming Festivities Friday night. She is the daughter of the Rev. Wilson Ferguson Jr. and Monica Ferguson of Jeanerette. She is currently involved in the International Club, volleyball, basketball, track FBLS, choir and the president of the senior class. After high school, she plans on going to college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe to be a radiologist.
