Anissa “Neice” Broussard Breaux

Funeral services for Anissa “Neice” Broussard Breaux, age 45, will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013, at 6 p.m. at Acadian Funeral Home with Brother Andrew Starks officiating. Visitation will be held in Library “B” from 4 p.m. until closing time at 8 p.m. Interment will be private and held at a later date.

Anissa was born on October 7, 1968, to her parent, Gail Geoffray, and raised by Michael E. Broussard and Gail Geoffray Broussard of New Iberia. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter Skylar. She enjoyed watching television. Among her favorite television shows were C.S.I and watching Uncle Si on Duck Dynasty. She enjoyed being on facebook. She enjoyed her dogs Killa and Bentley.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband, Jamie Breaux, of New Iberia; her mother, Gail Geoffray Broussard, of Branson, Mo.; two sons Jordan Collins of New Iberia, abd Kevin Nicholas Prejean and girlfriend Leah of New Iberia; a stepson Trey Breaux and his fiance’ Taylor Darden; two stepdaughters Ashley Breaux and Mindy Babineaux and her husband, Bryce; grandmother, Carrie Derouen, of New Iberia; a brother Michael J. Broussard Jr. of New Iberia; four sisters Cathy Carmouche of New Iberia, Mandi Broussard of Breaux Bridge, Brandi Broussard of New Iberia and Jeanne Broussard of Broussard; a niece Brandi Boullion; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Betty Breaux of New Iberia; and a granddaughter Skylar Prejean.

Anissa was preceded in death by her father, Michael E. Broussard Sr.; grandfather, Eustan Geoffray; grandmother, Emaze Geoffray; paternal grandfather, Andre’ Broussard Sr.; and step-grandfather L.J.“Skip” Derouen.
