- deMahy — Kimball
Suzanne Marie deMahy and Korey Philip Kimball were married Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St Martinville.
The bride is the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Paul J. deMahy of St. Martinville. The groom is the son of Phyllis White of Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kimball of New Iberia.
Monsignor Keith DeRouen officiated at the ceremony, assisted by Deacon Reggie Bollich.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a slim line slighted flared charmeuse satin gown in light ivory. The bodice featured a Queen Ann neckline with heavily beaded lace motifs. A beaded lace keyhole cutout back and covered button closure accented the asymmetrical slightly ruched skirt and pleated train. Complementing the bride’s gown was a fingertip veil of bridal illusion with lightly scalloped edging encrusted with crystal beading. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers, white David Austin roses, red tipped yellow calla lilies and aubergine dalhias with stems wrapped in satin.
Maid of honor was Shannon Fay and bridesmaid was Skye Sturlese Fantaci. They each carried bouquets similar to the bride.
Aaron Ruppel served as best man. Groomsmen were Toby Fails and John Texada.
Ushers were Ronnie Husbands, Dr. Troy Miller, Stanton Ripp, Charles Shea and Patrick Shea.
Other members of the wedding party were Dana Kimball Miller, Caroline deMahy Dessens, Paula Kimball and Brigette deMahy Boudreaux.
A reception for family and friends was held at the The Victorian Plantation in Broussard.
Following a wedding trip, the couple will continue to reside in New Iberia.
