Cracklin’ Cornbread

2 boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix

2 eggs

2/3 cup buttermilk or milk

1 teaspoon sugar

1 cup crushed cracklins

9-inch cast iron skillet

Non stick Teflon foil

Mix the Jiffy Cornbread Mix with milk and eggs. Add the crushed cracklins. Line the cast iron skillet with foil. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

Note: The cornbread will not stick to skillet if using Teflon foil. The use of a cast iron skillet allows for even cooking heat.
