Mr. Clarence Farrier, a native of Lafayette and a resident of New Iberia, died on Monday, February 17, 2014, at his residence in Jeanerette. Funeral services will be held at Journet & Bolden Funeral Home, 711 S. Corinne Street, in New Iberia on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the funeral home until time of services. Interment will follow at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in New Iberia. The Rev. DeAndre` Cross will officiate the services.

Mr. Clarence Farrier is survived by his wife, Albertina Farrier, of New Iberia; his parents, Vella Mae Farrier and Eldridge Marshall, of Loreauville; his grandmother, Anna L. Marshall, of St. Martinsville; four sons Clarence L. Farrier, Bryson Etienne, Braelon Farrier and Joseph Broussard; four stepsons Brandon Etienne, Christian Cleary, Terrance Williams and Tyrin Cleary; three daughters Olivia Blanchard, Clarneisha Farrier and Jasi Broussard; two brothers Marcus Farrier and Alleray Marshall of Loreauville; five stepbrothers Eldridge Marshall Jr. of St. Martinsville, Daniel Marshall of Houston, Ronald Doucette (Christina), Jeremy Doucette and Jerome Doucette, all of St. Martinville; two sisters Angela Francis (Dominic) of New Iberia and Anna Berard (Matthews) of Jeanerette; six stepsisters Cecily Marshall of Franklin, Demonica Marshall of Houston, Sandrica Gauthier of New Iberia, Tonya Brown (Curtis) of Baton Rouge, Patrice Doucette of St. Martinsville and Hillary Manson of Jeanerette; three grandchildren Shanice Antoine, Xavier Blanchard and Ja`Randall Blanchard; two special aunts Lorraine Ledet of New Iberia and Mary Ledet of Loreauville; special uncle Chester Miller Sr.; special niece Natoria Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Clarence was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosie Miller and Clarence Farrier; paternal grandfather, Rufus Marshall; one aunt Loveless Skipper; other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Lester Phillips, Michael Fields, Alvin Parker, Lloyd Mitchell, Lawrence Johnson and James Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eldridge Marshall, Clarence Farrier, Marcus Farrier, Dominic Francis, Alvey Henry IV, Alleray Marshall, Bryson Etienne, Edward Flugance, Gabriel Beals, Ray Michael Washington and Alvey Henry III.
