Jeff and Sharon Jolet of New Iberia announce the engagement of their daughter Laci Kae Jolet to Benjamin Phillip Acklely, son of Ricky and Denise Ackley of Lake Charles.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Church of Assumption in Franklin.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of New Iberia Senior High. She received a Bachelor of Science in hotel administration in 2010 from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She is employed with Leger Adkins LLP as a paralegal in Houston.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of LaGrange Senior High and a 2006 Louisiana State University graduate with a degree in petroleum engineering. He is employed with Marathon Oil in Houston.
