Eliana Papion, 11, was elected as a finalist in the National American Miss Louisiana Pageant to be held May 30 at the Crown Plaza in Baton Rouge.

She will be competing in the pre-teen age division, along with other outstanding young ladies from across Louisiana.

The National American Miss pageants are held for girls 4-18 years old and have five age divisions.

Her activities include softball, volleyball, basketball, dancing, band and modeling.

The winner of the pageant will compete in the National Pageant in California. She is the daughter of Emayla Papion.
