Bugs and Buttons includes a series of 18 games that are both educational and entertaining for the 5- to 8-year-old set, teaching them counting, fine motor skills, sorting, patterns, and other skills. The activities include eight different bugs – ladybugs, roaches, dragonflies, bees, ants, butterflies, tarantulas and butterflies – and games that involve connecting the dots, tic-tac-toe, a slingshot, and other fun activities, like helping bugs find their way through mazes, or catching the “buttons falling off Uncle Bob’s button truck.” Once they succeed in an activity, users win stamps to collect in a book.
