Liggans among top baseball players

Myles Isaiah Liggans was recently selected to be included in the 2014 Edition of, “The Best Players in USSSA Baseball.”
The book’s primary focus is on the players of USSSA Baseball who play in the Major Division and have been selected from the local level.
USSSA recognizes Major Division players who are among the best youth baseball players in the United States.
The 2014 Edition has been created to recognize and honor these elite level athletes.
He is the son of Marcus and Melissa Liggans of Loreauville. He has played shortstop and centerfield with Marucci Baseball in Baton Rouge under the direction of Brad Cresse for four years, three of which in the Major Division.
Myles is a sixth-grade student at Highland Baptist Christian School, where he maintains a GPA of 4.0, a member of Junior Beta, recent Christian Leader Award recipient and a point guard on the school’s basketball team. He is the junior vice-grand president of the Knights of St. Peter Claver, Council No. 8 and also plays the quarterback position for the 12U New Iberia Broncos.
