Four New Iberia Senior High School students were selected to participate in the Louisiana Music Educators Association Fall Conference.

Ian Bonin was selected through a statewide audition for the Louisiana All-State Mixed Choir and will perform under guest conductor Edith Copley of the University of Arizona.

William Melancon and Mark Derouen were selected through an audition for the Louisiana All State Orchestra and will perform with Gene Moon from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, serving as conductor.

Erika Schlicher was selected through an audition for the Louisiana All State Concert Band and will perform with Amanda Drinkwater of Marcus High School in Texas serving as conductor.

The students will perform with the All-State groups at the LMEA Conference to be held Nov. 21-24 at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge.
