Jackson named Provider of Year

Dr. Andrew P. Jackson, general dentist at Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center Inc. was selected as Louisiana Primary Care Association’s 2014 Provider of the Year.

Jackson graduated from University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry and has been practicing general dentistry for over 35 years. His denture program is well known throughout the Acadiana region. In addition to Jackson saving and extracting teeth and providing quality dentures to many patients, he has loved, encouraged, lifted up, helped, mentored, educated and nurtured countless people in his life.

Jackson plays an active role in the lives of many people in the community. At his church, he has served as the lead instructor in a growing Men’s Ministry as well as a faithful member of the King’s Kid Ministry for the past eight years, in which messages of love and faith are shared with incarcerated individuals in the St. Mary Parish Correctional Facility.

Jackson practices at the Iberia Comprehensive New Iberia site on Jefferson Terrace Boulevard.
