Funeral services will be held Monday, December 22, 2014, at 4 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Alfredo “Freddie” Marroquin, 61, who passed away Saturday, December 30, 2014.
Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro.
Mr. Marroquin was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Carencro for the past 25 years. He retired with Peesi as a fitter/welder. Mr. Marroquin was a parishioner of Temple Baptist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Survivors include his mother, the former Lilly Gonzales of New Iberia; his wife of 40 years the former, Wanda Hebert of Carencro; four sons, Juan Marroquin and his fianceé, Shelley, of Houston, Texas, Cifredo Marroquin and his wife, Jennifer, of Carencro, Carlos Marroquin and his wife, Chrystal, of Spring, Texas and Franscisco and his wife, Jori, of Carencro; 11 grandchildren, Alyx, Cameron, Christian, Isaiah, Josiah, Jordyn, Kamryn, Ashtyn, Jeremiah, Taylor and Dillon; one brother, Neil Leloux and his wife, Terry, of Milton; and four sisters, San Juanita Duhon and her husband, Larry, Romona LeBlanc and her husband, Loyde, Paula Legnon and Jerry Stansel all of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cifredo Marroquin; and one sister, Maria Marroquin.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. Monday until service time on Monday.
