COTEAU — A Memorial Mass was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Patsy Ann Thibo-deaux, 56, who passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Lafayette.

The Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated the celebrant.

A gathering of family and friends was Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau.

Patsy was born on January 17, 1958, and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed Christmas decorating, cooking and spending time with her family and friends, especially with the children.

She is survived by her husband, Kirk J. Thibodeaux, of Coteau; mother, Cevrlia Marie Segura Alleman, of Coteau; two daughters Cegie Ryder and husband, Justin, of New Iberia and Whitney N. Thibodeaux of New Iberia; two stepsons Ryan Thibodeaux and wife, Cherie, of Sunset and Ross Thibodeaux of Lafayette; brothers Tony Alleman and wife, Dawn, of New Iberia and Bernard Alleman Jr. of Broussard; two sisters Betty Alleman of Coteau and Laura Alleman and companion Scott Derouen of Bull Island; five grandchildren Jace, Jaylee, Issy, Jobi and Reese; father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Lydia Albert Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; and former husband Robby Bodin of Saint Martinville.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bernard Alleman Sr.; brothers Andrus “Nookie” Alleman and Larry James Alleman; grandparents, Andrus and Neola Bourque Alleman and Etienne and Julia Touchet Segura Sr.; and an infant sister.
