What a wonderful project: The Beausoleil Louisiana Solar Home. The students and staff of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette who designed and built it are to be congratulated. The self-supporting house built to use nature’s positive energy and defend against nature’s devastating hurricanes was entered in a contest among 20 international universities and won the contest for market viability. It was also chosen as the People’s Choice Winner. The book is filled with photos of the individuals responsible for designing and completing the project as well as scenes of the construction. Outstanding!

Robert Burns wrote, “Oh the gift that God could give us, to see ourselves as others see us.” And what might we find out about ourselves? Are we hard wired to be happy or born to brood? How can we know and how can we change if change need be? Dr. Little presents recent scientific research into the theories of Freud and Jung that gives us new insights to our behavior and he does so in a humorous and wise way to help us learn who we are and why we act the way we do.
