Boudreaux was on trial for Murder. So he bribed his frin Thibodeaux on the jury to hold out for manslaughter.

The jury was out for a long time, but finally brought in the verdict he was looking for.

During a visit in prison the following week, Boudreaux tanked his frin.

Then, Boudreaux axed his frin, “ Ya must have had a hard time getting dem to vote for manslaughter”?

Thibodeaux said, “Hard time”? “Dee utter eleven wanted to acquit you”.
