Pre-Teen America Recognition

The invitation only scholarship and recognition event involving girls from 7 to 12 years of age has selected Maisa Salem as a finalist in the Pre-Teen Louisiana Scholarship and Recognition Program.

To be held July 3 to 5 in Baton Rouge, state finalists will be evaluated on academic achievement, volunteer service to the community, school honors and activities, development of personal skills and abilities, general knowledgeability, communicative ability and on-stage acknowledgments of accomplishments.

She is the daughter of Saleh Salem of New Iberia.
