Louisiana 87 at Lewis Street Bridge over the Bayou Teche will have a lane closure and intermittent bridge openings today to allow crews to make bridge repairs.

This work is estimated to take place from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting. 

No detour is necessary, but motorists can expect delays throughout the day. Suggested alternate routes include Louisiana 87, Louisiana 3195 (Nelson Canal Bridge) and Louisiana 182.
