Memorial services for Ms. Lois Jean Gaspard, also known as Bambi, 70, will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at Acadian Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Ms. Gaspard was born on September 19, 1944, and passed away on July 16, 2015, at 6 a.m. Ms. Gaspard is from Port Huron, Michigan, but lived in New Iberia.

Ms. Gaspard was married for 26 years. She enjoyed being a wife and mother. She loved baking and crocheting for her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Gaspard, of New Iberia; two sons Bernard Donnelly and James Woodworth; one daughter MaryEllen Patterson; two stepdaughters Jackie and Sharron; one stepson Lonnie; one brother Oliver Gould Jr.; grandchildren Leah, Jeremy, Rachole, Jimmy (Bo), James, Deniel, Dannielle and Samatha; great-grandchildren Colby, Brittney, Zachary, Dannielle, Baily, Isaiah, Rylie and Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Gould and Ila Ostrander Gould; two brothers Kenny and Gary Gould; one granddaughter Tarah Patterson; and one great-granddaughter Kayla Patterson.
