Spruill — Molbert

Kristin Cherié Spruill and Charles Mark Molbert were married Friday, July 31, 2015 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Oren and Peggy Spruill of Breaux Bridge. The groom is the son of Sherry Bujard Molbert and the late Dr. Mark Frances Molbert of New Iberia.

The Rev. Keith Labove officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a fit and flare gown with vintage ivory-colored lace over a café lustre satin slip with lace shoulder straps, a sweetheart neckline with a deep V- illusion back and satin covered buttons and a scalloped lace hem which flowed into a cathedral train.

For her headpiece, the bride wore a custom designed fingertip veil accented with alencon lace.

She carried a loose and natural clutch bouquet of pink, peach and champagne-colored garden roses accented by white ranunculas, hydrangeas, lysianthus, cascading jasmine and silver dollar eucalyptus bound by an ivory-colored lace ribbon. The bouquet was entwined with the rosary of the groom’s late father.

Serving as matron of honor was Amy Louviere Weatherford. Bridesmaids were Mandy Molbert Meyers, sister of the groom, Janice Spruill, sister-in- law of the bride, Kylii Courville Bijeaux and Jenny Mequet. Flower girl was Juliette Rose Molbert, niece of the groom.

Serving as best man was Lucas Molbert, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Oren Brandon Spruill, brother of the bride, Wesley Meyers, brother-in- law of the groom, Drew Leblanc, Rhett Buteau and Ben “Derby” Eldridge. Junior groomsman was Oren Preston Spruill, nephew of the bride.

Jed Leblanc and Cody Simon served as ushers. Ring bearer was Griffin Frances Molbert, nephew of the groom.

A reception for friends and family was held at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette with music provided by GTO and the D-Street Brass Band.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
