Lori Valls Bernard and Trey Louis LeBlanc were married on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Joseph Bernard Jr. of New Iberia. Her mother is the former Susan Marie Valls. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Louis LeBlanc of Delcambre. His mother is the former Michelle Renee Delcambre.
The Rev. Richard Greene, Rev. Gary Schexnayder and Rev. Nathan Comeaux officiated the ceremony assisted by Deacon Pat Broussard.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a fitted ivory-colored alencon lace over gold satin gown with a Vneck front and an open low back accented with beaded trim.
For her headpiece, she wore a cathedral veil trimmed with an intricate corded hem.
She carried a hand tied bouquet of fresh white hydrangeas and baby’s breath wrapped with double bridal satin ribbon. It was draped with her mother’s rosary and included small charms with pictures of the bride and grooms deceased grandmothers.
Serving as maid of honor was Chloe Catherine Segura. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Louise Allain, Erin Leigh Dworaczyk, Lanie McCoy Kipp, Molly Elizabeth Molbert, Stephanie Dartez Simien, Hannah Lyn Dooley, cousin of the groom and Emily Maria Delahoussaye, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Emma Kathryn Bolton, Godchild and cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Hudson Michael Mackey, cousin of the bride.
Serving as best man was Tren Lucas LeBlanc, twin brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jhy Randall LeBlanc, brother of the groom, Dustin Valls Bernard, brother of the bride, Judd Anthony Trahan, cousin of the groom, Jacob Steven Broussard, Christopher Neil Esponge, Jorey Davis Renard and Kyle Andre Romero.
Thomas Michael Theriot, cousin of the bride and Chip Joseph Landry served as usher.
A reception for family and friends was held at the Cade Community Center in St. Martinville. The event was captured in a live painting by New Orleans artist Christina Pappion.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Thibodaux.
