SIRACUSA — Curtis “Kool-Aid” John Gordon, 54, a resident of Morgan City (Siracusa), and a native of Jeanerette, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at his residence in Morgan City.
Visitation will be observed from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Jeanerette. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Arthur Alexander officiating.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of “Kool-Aid” are his three daughters Latoya Sibley (Ronnie) of Alexandria, Christina Gordon and Particia Gordon, both of Houston; five grandchildren; four sisters Cynthia Jones, Jewelen F. Gordon-Crawford and Gerselda S. Bourgeois (Troy) all of Texas City, Texas, and Mary Ann Gordon Narcisse; three brothers Rayford A. Gordon and Joe K. Solco of Jeanerette and Darnell Rubbins; his fiancée Lois Pellerin of Morgan City; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, John Gordon; and his mother, Doris Ruth Feast-Solco; one grandchild Chanz Marshall; and two brothers-in-law Troy Bourgeois and Mose Crawford.
