A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Richard Pierre Alleman, 81, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of services.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Alleman passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Iberia Extended Care Hospital.

Richard “Dick” Alleman enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and gardening. He was an avid gardener who loved to plant vegetables. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Barbara Wagge Alleman; and brother George Alleman and wife, Paulette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Edith Lasalle Alleman.
