Thibodeaux, a passenger in a taxi, tapped Boudreaux, the driver, on the shoulder to ask him something.

Boudreaux screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb, and stopped just inches from a large glass window.

For a few moments everything was silent in the cab, then Boudreaux said, “Look mister, don’t never do dat again. You scared the crap out of me!”

Thibodeaux , who was also frightened, apologized and said he didn’t realize that a tap on the shoulder could frighten him so much.

Boudreaux, the driver replied, “Mais, Ah’m very sorry, its not your fault at tall. Today is ma first day driving a cab. Ah’ve been driving a hearse for de last 25 years.”
