Stutes — Bourque

Erin Claire Stutes and Jordan Michael Bourque were married Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville. The bride is the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Stutes of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Junius Bourque of Groves, Texas, and Jill Doiron of New Iberia.

The Rev. Richard Greene officiated the ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless sweatheart trumpet gown with beaded lace on a shirred tulle bodice accentuated by a sweeping train.

For her headpiece, she wore a one tier fingertip veil adorned with pearl embellished alencon lace edge.

She carried a teardrop bouquet of large pink roses, deep red peonies accented with lambs ear and silvery birch branches wrapped with white satin ribbon braided with her mother’s rosary.

Serving as matron of honor was Krystal Romero, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brittany Dronet, Lakeyn VanAsselberg, Elise Provost, cousin of the bride, and Krista Ackal, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Bourque, niece of the groom. Flower girls were Juliet Clement, cousin of the bride, and Chloe Stutes, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Jonah Clement, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man was Cody Hebert, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Tanner Doiron, stepbrother of the groom, Jacob Stutes, brother of the bride, Seth Hebert and Jeremy Dronet. Junior groomsman was Gage Broussard, nephew of the bride.

Rick Stutes Jr., godfather of the bride, and Jude Romero, brother-in-law of the bride, served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Willow Wood Reception Hall in New Iberia.

Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
