A home-going celebration will be held for Tracey Renee Chatman, 46, at noon Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Fletcher Funeral Home, New Iberia, with Pastor Gilmore officiating.

She will await the resurrection at St. Edward Catholic Church Cemetery, New Iberia.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

A native and resident of New Iberia, she passed Sunday, February 7, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She leaves to cherish her memory her fiancée Alvin Sereal of New Iberia; mother, Harriet Chatman, of New Iberia; two sons Travis Chatman and Trevin Chatman of New Iberia; one daughter Ashley Chatman of New Iberia; one brother Anthony (Tara) Chatman of Fife, Washington; and one sister Leslie M. (Mark) Calligan of New Iberia; four grandchildren Tra’lasha Francis, Tra’leah Francis, Jabian Chatman and Khaza Duce Chatman; her paternal siblings Garnette Delahoussaye, Lori Ann Delahoussaye and Larry Michael Delahoussaye, all of New Iberia; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Active pallbearers will be Freddie Lewis Jr., Alvin Sereal, Brandon Teno, Anthony Hill, Glenn Williams Jr. and Ricky Delahoussaye.

Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Chatman, Trevin Chatman, Anthony Chatman, Mark Calligan and Anthony Hill.
