During her time working in Iberia Parish, Ledbetter also coordinated homeless education and computer literacy.

Ledbetter said she would like to collaborate with the Iberia Parish Council as city councilwoman, and also to work with the Iberia Parish School Board to prepare children for careers.

“I also want to bring new businesses and industries into the parish, and fill jobs as they become available,” she said. “My motto is ‘working together, we can make a difference.’ It’s not about me, it’s about the community good.”
