Bourque — Babin

Misty Lynn Bourque and Joseph Babin Jr. were married Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Durphy and Peggy Bourque of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Joseph Babin Sr. and Leona Segura of Jeanerette.

The Rev. Richard Greene officiated the ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-colored A-line gown featuring lace and tulle.

For her headpiece, she wore a ivory-colored one-tier tulle veil with a sequin laced hem.

She carried a bouquet of ivory-colored and white roses.

Serving as matron of honor was Ashley Babin and as maid of honor was Megan Daraby. Bridesmaids were Sierra Broussard, Brooke Callais, Genique Bourque, Gina Migues, Kayla Heintz, Jennifer Oneall and Natalie Rangel. Flower girl was Lillian Babin. Ring bearer was Blaze Babin.

Serving as best man was Joshua Babin. Groomsmen were Trent Bourque, Jason Oneall, Corey Mata, Hunter Martin and Bryan Segura Jr.

James Darby and Bryan Segura Sr. served as usher.

A reception for family and friends was held at La Louisiane Banquet Hall in New Iberia.

The couple will reside in Jeanerette.
