Trahan — Trahan

Jennifer Jean Trahan and Justin Wayne Trahan were married Saturday, April 23, 2016, at First United Methodist Church in New Iberia. The bride is the daughter of Steven and Ronda Trahan of New Iberia. The groom is the son of Stewart and Julie Trahan of Youngsville.

The Rev. Scott Bullock officiated the 7 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin ruched mermaid-fit, diamond-white gown featuring an illusion front with embellishments that continued throughout the swoop neck back and semi-catherdral train.

For her headpiece, she wore a crystal, rhinestone floral head piece and diamond-white fingertip veil with lace and beading along the edges.

She carried a bouquet of orchids, hydrangeas, lilies and roses.

Serving as matron of honor was Lanie Sellers and as maid of honor was Chalisse Peltier. Bridesmaids were Brittney Lassaigne, Kayla Trahan, Markie Edler, Emilie McKevitt, Meagan Trahan and Amy Trahan. Junior bridesmaids were Chloe Trahan and Mia Trahan. Flower girls were Karleigh Trahan and Avery Trahan. Ring bearer was Cole Trahan.

Serving as best men were B.J. Fangue and Houston Fontenot. Groomsmen were Shane Trahan, Michael Winterround, Stephen Gonzales, Tim McKevitt, Joshua Trahan and Sean Trahan. Junior groomsman was Talan Trahan.

Brennan Latiolais and Blair Sellers served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at The Manor in Cade.

Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the couple will reside in New Iberia.
