Gachassin — Russo

Ronni Lynn Gachassin and Nicholas Jude Russo were married Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Maison de Tours in St. Martinville. The bride is the daughter of Monica Viator Turner of Brandon, Mississippi. The groom is the son of Michael and Lisa Russo of St. Martinville.

The Rev. Aaron Shamp officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride wore a gown with a sweetheart front neckline, sheer lace cap sleeves that flowed into a keyhole back neckline and featuring beaded lace appliques on tulle over sleek taffeta. The fit and flare skirt was finished with scalloped lace trim around the hemline.

For her headpiece, she wore an ivory-colored chapel veil.

She carried a hand tied bouquet of white hydrangeas, sweetheart roses, peonies and stock wrapped with a soft satin ribbon.

Serving as maid of honor was Morgan Lancon Delcambre. Bridesmaids were Kassie Guirard Miguez and Brittany Robichaux Darbonne. Flower girl was Emmie Miguez. Ring bearers were Cortland Owens, Cullen Owens and Christian Russo.

Serving as best man was Thomas Broussard. Groomsmen were Ren Delcambre, Matt Romero and Nick Theriot.

Colby Russo, Garrett Viator and Nick Turner served as ushers.

A reception for family and friends was held at Masion de Tours in St. Martinville.

Following a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in St. Martinville.
